“The 2025 cohort represents a major milestone for us — not only are we adding learners from six new states, we’re more than doubling the total number of students we support,” said Ilana Walder-Biesanz, CEO of National Math Stars. “We aim to one day accelerate exceptional math talent from every state in the nation, and this is a huge step toward that goal.”

As part of this honor, Jonah will receive sizable long-term academic support spanning the next 10-years. Such honors are and supports for gifted young scholars are designed to nurture the talents of students and create pathways for future opportunities in STEM fields.
South Western City Schools congratulates Jonah on this remarkable accomplishment and thank the staff and families who helped support him in pursuit of this unique opportunity!
