24/7 online tutoring returns with ‘Paper’ in 2022-2023

For the second consecutive school year, the South-Western City School District (SWCSD) will use the online tutoring platform Paper to provide students in grades 7-12 around the clock access to study and homework help that launches today (Tuesday, September 6, 2022.

What is Paper?

Paper delivers unlimited, personalized online tutoring from expert tutors so every student can excel academically 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Whether it be nights, weekends, or spring break, when students need help, Paper online tutors are there around the clock to assist.


From there, our SWCSD educators and administrators obtain supplemental insights that help us support student progress and adapt instruction to meet student needs.

Who are Paper tutors?

Paper tutors are vetted, trained and qualified educators. During the chat-based tutoring sessions, Paper tutors ask guiding questions to help students understand their homework, never giving away any answers. What about privacy?

Students “real names” are never used with the platform, nor does the platform offer any virtual or visual web conferencing. Student data and personal information are always protected. Paper systems are secure, and we operate under strict adherence to student data privacy laws (read more).
