13 SWCS Students named to OMEA’s All-State Choir, Band and Orchestra ensembles

Across multiple South Western City Schools high schools, 13 vocalists and instrumentalists have been named to the All-State Choir, Band, or Orchestra ensembles by the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA).

Annually, OMEA solicits applications in the form of a recorded solos from approved Class “A” or Class “B” lists for evaluation from a committee of veteran music educators from around the state. After reviewing all submissions, the committee selects students based on the guidelines set forth in the application process.
