
The South-Western City School District Early Childhood Education Grant Program is now enrolling for Early Childhood Education (ECE) placements (income based by state standards) for fall of 2024.
The ECE program is an important investment in Ohio’s youngest learners. The program provides early learning programs with an opportunity to provide high quality, comprehensive learning environments and address outcomes and goals essential for healthy development and academic, social and emotional success.

Low-cost, Half Day Preschool for Children who will be 3 or 4-years of age on or before October 1, 2024
Applicants MUST be at or below 200% of the Federal poverty line and live within the South-Western City School District boundaries. Families will need the following documents at the time of application:
1. Verification of child’s age – original birth certificate
2. Child’s up-to-date immunization (shot) records
3. Medical form- signed physical from a health care provider (physician)
4. Verification of residency {Two utility bills, signed lease or mortgage agreement)
5. Verification of income (last pay stub, tax forms, employer letter)
6. Parent/guardian photo ID
7. Custody papers (if applicable)
8. IEP (if applicable)
