Park Street Intermediate School (PSIS) and counselor Deidra Muse have been named recipients of the prestigous Ohio School Counselor Association OSCAR Award.
The Ohio School Counselor Accountability Report (OSCAR) is a results-based representation that visually demonstrates how student domain outcomes are facilitated by the work of school counselors. School counselors are educators with Masters Degrees, who work with the entire student population on their academic, career, and social/emotional development in collaboration with parents, administration, and teachers.

Muse is currently in her eighth year as a school counselor (third year at Park Street Intermediate School. She holds a B.S. in Counseling from Johnson University of Knoxville, TN and a M.Ed in School Counseling from the University of Dayton.
Last year, only 11 individual schools in the State of Ohio submitted reports that met the OSCAR criteria.
Muse will be recognized at the annual All Ohio Counselors Conference October 16-18, 2023, at the Columbus Convention Center.
